Before I went to NY I shot a series of trend programmes called #betrendy. I spend some time discussing either a trend or a piece in each of them; and endulge in some background history and give a few tips on how best to style them. For the time being, here are two of the programs (the one with the jeans and the one with the hoodie), and you will get to see a different one every monday (stripes, clutch, ethnic trend and t-shirts coming soon…). Antes de irme a NY estuve grabando una serie de programas de tendencias, titulados #betrendy. En cada uno de ellos hablo de una tendencia o de una prenda, y además de dar algunas pinceladas sobre su historia aporto ideas de cómo llevarlo mostrando unos cuantos looks. Por ahora ya podéis ver dos de ellos, el del vaquero y el de las sudaderas, y cada lunes habrá uno nuevo (black&white, rayas, cazadora perfecto, clutch, tendencia étnica, camisetas….). I think that Brooklyn Bridge offers the most uniquely breathtaking view of Manhattan. We were lucky that the sun came out because it made it look even better! On this day, I rocked white skinnies with sneakers, a military print hoodie and a denim shirt. I am wearing the same bag and sunnies that I wore in yesterday’s post but as they were new I wore them to death, I am sure you understand!!! Stay tuned this weekend because I will be sharing all the photos that were taken before my trip to NY, during my most recent shoot!  Lots of love. 

Creo que la vista más espectacular de Manhattan es la que hay desde el puente de Brooklyn, es única e impresionante, además el solcito que nos tocó este día ayuda aun mas! Para un nuevo día en la gran manzana me puse sneakers con pitillos blancos, sudadera camu y camisa vaquera. Las gafitas y el bolso ya los vísteis ayer…como eran nuevos no me los quería quitar!! Yet another marvellous day in NY, but this time I thought that I would delight you with a preppy look in yellow, white and black on 6th Avenue. I wore my new Topshop bag, which I bought in Soho the day before, and the skirt that I received just before I flew out. I know what you are thinking… I am clearly a little into yellow lately (I think that I was trying to blend in with the famous NY taxis)! I am going a little insane with my new MAC at the moment; it seems that transitioning from a PC is no easy feat so please bear with me if I write any nonsense…. help!! Lots of love!!

Otro maravilloso día en NY, ésta vez fotos en la 6º Avenida con un look preppy en amarillo, blanco y negro. Éste día estrené el bolsito de Top Shop que me compré en el Soho el día anterior y la falda que acababa de recibir justo antes de irme de viaje. Ya véis, tanto en el post de ayer como hoy me dió por el amarillo (para mimetizarme con los taxis neoyorkinos!). Mil besos, me estoy volviendo loca con mi nuevo MAC (yo que siempre he tenido PC), si véis que escribo cosas raras ya sabéis por qué….help!!!!!

Hello from the Big Apple!! I just got home and I am so happy to be back from NY, I can’t believe that the last time I was there the notorious Twin Towers were still standing… We really got to know downtown Manhattan this time round and walked a lot around the East Village, Soho, Nolita, Greenwich Village and the Meatpacking district, all of which are my fave areas. As you can probably imagine, I have come back with endless photos because we always try to capture everything for the blog-although some of you may have gotten a little sneek peak on Instagram (my nick is bartabacmode). With regards to the look, I went for an infallible combination of denim shorts, an aztec print jumper, my yellow beanie and my Pertini by b a r t a b a c ankle boots. What do you think?  See you very soon xx 

HI desde Times Square!! Estoy recién llegada y feliz de haber vuelto a NY, la última vez que había estado aun existían las torres….además en esta ocasión hemos tenido tiempo para redescubrir todo el downtown y pasear mil veces el East Village, Soho, Nolita, Greenwich Village, Tribeca o el Meatpacking, mis barrios favoritos de Manhattan. Como veréis vengo cargada de mil fotos, como siempre no perdemos ocasión para captar todo y enseñároslo en el blog, aunque ya habéis visto cosillas los que me seguís por Instagram (soy bartabacmode). Para éste día elegí shorts vaqueros, jersey de aire azteca, beanie amarillo y mis botines de Pertini by b a r t a b a c, ¿os gusta el look?. Muuuchos besos, nos vemos!

Get ready for a very different post today because it is all about beauty. It is a real pleasure to share my Sephora video, belonging to the 7 days, 7 bloggers and 7 beauty trends series, with you all. In the video I discuss my must beauty products; the ones that I always carry around with me in my bag. I have also uploaded loads of photos from the shoot so that you can see my outfit. On the day, I rocked a striped American Apparel shirt, my amazing new ankle boots and my red perfecto. Looooooots of love, hope that you like the video! 

Hoy toca post diferente, la cosa va de belleza porque os presento mi vídeo para Sephora dentro de la serie 7 días, 7 bloggers, 7 tendencias de belleza. Yo os cuento mis indispensables de belleza express, esos que uso a diario y que siempre llevo en el bolso. Además, por supuesto, os traigo un montón de fotos de esa jornada y mi outfit, con camisa de rayas de American Apparel, mis nuevos super botines y perfecto roja.
