Elite Model Look with Rowenta

Good morning! As I mentioned on all my social media (incluiding SnapChat!), on tuesday I was lucky enough to attend the Spanish semifinal of Rowenta’s Elite Model Look competition as an ambassador for the brand. It was a really intense day, filled with a lot of hope and nerves and it was lovely to experience this competition – which I have been watching since I was a kid – from the inside.

=I went for straight hair, which Carolina (Rowenta for EML’s amazing hairdresser) worked on with the Liss&Curl of Keratin&Shine straightners. I wanted to be comfortable all day so I threw on a pair of Levi’s shorts, a dusty blue shirt and mini heeled sandals. I was super lucky to spend time with the judges and so got to meet all the participants and got a really good idea of what criteria is followed to choose the finalists. Each one of them told us about themselves, sharing their hobbies, answering questions about their english, and I was able to see just how much of an emphasis is placed on personality, their vocation and their hunger for success. I want to thank Rowenta and Elite Model Look for giving me this amazing opportunity, I am literally counting down the days to the final, which will be in September, where I will give a talk and will also accompany the finalists to the international final in China. Buenos días! Como ya os conté por mis redes sociales (incluído SnapChat!), el martes estuve en Barcelona donde tuve la suertaza de asistir como embajadora de Rowenta for Elite Model Look a la semifinal española del concurso, donde se elegían los que pasarán a la final. Fue una jornada muy intensa, llena de ilusiones y de nervios y me encantó ver desde dentro este concurso que llevo siguiendo toda mi vida.

Para la ocasión me decanté por melena lisa que Carolina (la súper peluquera de Rowenta for EML) me pulió con las planchas Liss&Curl de Keratine&Shine, y como me apetecía estar cómoda para toda la jornada me puse shorts de Levi’s con camisa en azul empolvado y sandalias con mini tacón. Como tuve la suerte de acompañar al jurado, pude conocer a todos los participantes y ver qué criterios siguen para elegir los finalistas. Hablaron con cada uno de ellos para saber sus gustos, sus aficiones, a que se dedican, les preguntaban que tal su inglés, y pude ver lo mucho que valoran la personalidad, las ganas y vocación de cada uno de ellos, algo importantísimo para que puedan triunfar. Quiero aprovechar para dar las gracias a Rowenta y a Elite Model Look por esta oportunidad y ya cuento los días para la final que será en Septiembre, allí daré una charla a los finalistas y me hace especial ilusión saber que acompañaré a los ganadores a la final internacional en China.
